What is the meaning of the Heavenly Culture? Religiously speaking, it refers to the world of spirits. Just as there are cultures on the earth, there is also a culture in the world of spirits.
Just as there are mountains and streams, plants and grass on this earth, there are the sun, moon, stars, clouds, rain, air, wind and also the spirits in heaven. As well, the things created by God can be referred to as the “Heavenly Culture”.
Just as the sky is higher than the earth, the Culture of Heaven is high and exalted. Moses saw the things of heaven and made them accordingly on the earth (Ex 25:9, 40, Heb 8:5). Jesus saw things of heaven and made them known to this world (Jn 5). Likewise, Apostle John went up to the spiritual world and wrote what he had seen (Revelation). This is the Heavenly Culture.
What has been expressed in words is the writing, and the writing that is fulfilled in accordance to words is the culture. Just as people of the earth see, hear and touch whilst living, the spirits of heaven see, hear, touch and feel as well.
Because the spirits of heaven created the earth, they know things of the earth very well. However, things of the earth do not know things of heaven. One who saw, heard and felt heaven speaks things of heaven to those who belong to the earth, and only through him they can understand. It happens at the time only when they believe in it.
Shincheonji has been testifying until today (for 29 years) to what was seen, heard and commanded in heaven to the unenlightened earth like Moses, Jesus and Apostle Paul. Recently, we held The 6th Shincheonji Culture and Sports Celebration of Restoring Light and had many sporting events in each category. There were remarkable performances of the Heavenly Culture. Over 200,000 people attended the ceremony and millions of people viewed it live through broadcasting. They could not take their eyes away from the Culture of Heaven performances and the sporting events, and they did not leave their seats until very late at night. This was because it was the festival of God’s world and people liked the Heavenly Culture much more. From the seats, people harmoniously exclaimed, “Wow, This is heaven where we are now!” And as time went by, they looked like they were filled with the spirit. This is the Heavenly culture.
Only Shincheonji who has seen the things of heaven (refer to Rv 4) can do this. The religious books of this world have the same meaning; Revelation, however, commemorates the end of God’s 6,000 years of work, and God in heaven has specially shown this to Shincheonji. He has given and shown His commands to the world to make people aware.
God gave his word to the prophets, Apostle John who saw and heard the word wrote the book of Revelation, and Shincheonji at the Culture of Heaven, Arts and Sports Festival expressed this written word for World Peace and Restoration of Light. This was the scene of the culture of Heaven that was seen at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. Just as all living things on the earth live by light, rain and air from heaven, the Heavenly culture enables the harmony of life (eternal life) to those who saw and heard the events as there is the force of life in it. This is hearing and testifying to the secrets that the creator destined.
Just as it was said in the opening address, it was the ceremony where the spirits of heaven and the people of the earth became one. Let’s look at the meaning of what was shown through the mass game of the event.
At the end of the era caused by the corruption of the religious world, God’s pastors and people made war against Satan’s pastors and people. Then the pastor chosen by God shot an arrow and pierced the dragon (Satan), and after the dragon was split into 7 pieces and disappeared, the ‘one who overcomes’ (promised pastor) ate the book of Revelation which came from Heaven, sounded the trumpet and gathered people from the nations to have a celebration where the spirits and the flesh came together. This ceremony marked the destruction of the organization of Satan’s church and the corrupted church of God, and the creation of God’s kingdom to fulfill world peace and restoration. This is the Culture of Heaven, Arts and Sports Festival.
A new world is created by those people who are reborn through the Heavenly Culture, out of all the people on the earth, and eternal life, paradise and heaven is fulfilled by God who is the source of all blessings. In the era of Shincheonji, people must follow Shincheonji. Because all fortune of the world comes to Shincheonji, those who follow Shincheonji will receive blessings. Anyone who wishes to become a new person, a heavenly person with the Culture of Heaven, will be accepted regardless of where he is from. This is the Heavenly Culture of the new world, Shincheonji.
