Ceremony and Corruption of Religious People

The end of an era begins with the corruption of the religious people, and the corrupt religious people act in favor of power, honor, and money becoming one with the society of the world. Due to this, God has put an end to one era and has begun a new era.

Let us take a look at what ceremony means.

Adam and Eve did not wear clothes in the beginning. But after eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because they were deceived by the serpent, [Adam and Eve] knew that they were naked and so they made garments of skin and clothed themselves (Gn 3). In the era of lawlessness, the Law of Moses also made known various ceremonies, one of which was being baptized by one’s body with water. However, at the time of Jesus, [it was cleansing one’s] clothes of the heart and circumcision of the heart (Acts 7:51, Rom 2:29).

Jesus also came into conflict with the Jews at the time of the first coming for he did not keep the Law of Moses in regard to the Sabbath (refer to Ex 20:8-11, Jn 9, Heb 4).

Today, our life of faith requires a standard. What is the correct standard which we need? The Law of Moses or the free Law of Jesus? Jesus said to the Jews who believed in the Law of Moses, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (Jn 8:31-32). We have to compare the era before Adam sinned with the era after Adam sinned. In the era before Adam sinned, God created us in His image and likeness. Therefore, the seed that we are born again of is the seed of God, the secret of the kingdom of heaven (Mt 13). If one is born again of the seed of God, then he or she will be in God’s image and likeness, the first, original image of Adam and Eve. This will be the way home, to the original image.

We have to think about how to restore these ceremonies and standard to their original image. The image we see right now is not everything. The one who saw the image of the Spiritual realm knows.
