What is the wedding banquet of the spirit and flesh spoken by God and found in the Bible?
In the Old Testament, in Hos 2:18-20, God said that He would marry the people of Israel.
18. In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety. 19. I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. 20. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge of the Lord. (Hos 2:18-20)
In Ex 19:3-6, God through Moses recorded how he was going to guide the people of Jacob’s descendants Israel out of Egypt and the covenant with them.
3. Then Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: 4. You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6. you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.” (Ex 19:3-6)
After this, God appeared to Jeremiah and spoke of a new covenant He would establish (Jer 31:31-34), “It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them.” The new covenant is to write God’s law (word) on their hearts (to be sealed), so that through it, they could receive atonement of sins (Heb 8:10-12).
God, who is in spirit, comes down to be one with the people of Israel in flesh: This is marriage. This is a marriage of the spirit of God being united with the spirit that is within a person. There was a covenant between God, who was the husband, and the Israelites, who were the bride, as can be seen in Exodus 19. And breaking this covenant and becoming a bride of another god was a violation of the covenant (Jer 3:1-3, the time of Solomon: 1 Kgs 11 ).
The wedding banquet of God’s son appears in the New Testament, in Mt 22 and Mt 25. To enter this wedding banquet and to be married to God’s son is salvation. This marriage is the union between the spirit of God’s son and our own spirits. There is even a hymn that goes, “What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought, since Jesus came into my heart,” and in Rv 3:20 it says, “if anyone hears the voice of the Lord and opens the door to their hearts, then the Lord will enter in us and become one with us,” and in Jn 14:20 it says, “on that day you will realize that I am in you.” Also, it is said that the Spirit of truth, the Counselor who comes in Jesus’ name, would be in people (Jn 14:16-17). Further, it is written in Gal 4:6-7, “because we are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, and God has made us into heirs”.
As we can see from this, the marriage at the time of the Second Coming is the marriage of the holy spirit’s becoming one with people’s spirits. In such an era, one must have the requirements to marry God’s son to be married. Apostle Paul said in 2 Cor 11:2, “I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.” In the same way, we must check to see if we have the requirements to marry God’s son who is the groom—that is, we must be pure and wear the wedding clothes, prepare the lamp and oil; when one has these requirements, then he or she can enter the wedding banquet of the Lamb and become the bride of the Lamb.
The Lord who loved us even poured out his blood, even asked whether or not he would find faith on this earth when he returned (Lk 18:8). Even though in this situation, there are those who are frantic to make unbelievers the devil, those who sell Jesus and God’s name and live for authority and power for their flesh. They are the ones who calling them those on the road to hell, judging and pressuring those who believe in other religions (denominations) than theirs “cult” and the devil from hell, how can they call themselves God’s good pastors? How can they possibly have the requirements to welcome the Lord?
The end of age, that is, the end of churches is to hear and listen to the promised words rather than just believing in their own pastors. We must remember the passage that describes how if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into the pit.
The events of the end and new creation is in Rv 2-3 and Rv 13, and the time of the end God’s chosen people, the church commit adultery and are destroyed by the pastors of Satan and Satan’s teachings (commentaries). Also, chosen people who are like the sun, moon and stars of heaven become corrupt and fall to the earth (Rv 6:12-17, Rv 8, 9). And as recorded in Rv 17 and 18, they drink the maddening wine of adulteries which is Satan’s teachings (Rv 17:1-5, 18:2-3), and because they became the bride of Satan and married with Satan (refer to Rv 18:23), all nations are destroyed, and at this time, the congregation of God’s church have become captive in Babylon, the nation of demons (refer to Rv 17:14, 18:4). Can you believe this?
At this time, the Lord will give the white stone to the one who overcomes (Rv 2:17) and will judge Babylon, the nation of Satan and will end their marriage with Satan. In Mt 22:4 it says that, “my oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered and everything is ready and invited all to come.” As seen in Revelation, Satan’s pastors, in chapter 12, after the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns have captured the oxen, that is the pastors who betrayed of chapters 6 and 13, the 12 tribes (congregation) of Mount Zion and the wedding banquet of the Lord have begun as promised in Rv 19, and the wedding banquet has begun today. It is for those who are invited to the wedding banquet, as stated previously as the believers who are ready and prepared to marry with the Lamb, God’s son.
The food that will be served at this wedding banquet is, as mentioned before, the cattle (destroyers) and the oxen (betrayers). We cannot forget that the wedding banquet of the Lamb begins after they are captured. Those who are gathered at the wedding banquet (living flesh; people, Rv 15:2, 20:4) and birds, that is the spirits of martyrs of Rv 20, are united as one to participate in the first resurrection, and will reign for 1000 years, this place is God’s new nation, that is Shinchonji.
This is after the judgment of the corrupted generation that has passed, where they are harvested and sealed, God’s new nation that is created, the kingdom of heaven where the spirit and flesh become one.
